Arlington Heights.
Mrs. Johnson was a
homemaker and former
business owner of By
Maryn where she sold
dollhouse
miniatures. She was
a Girl Scout Leader
and Program Chair,
member of the
Arlington Heights
Women’s Club, Alpha
Omicron Pi, Cottage
Industry Miniaturist
Trade Association (CIMTA)
and participated in
many other community
organizations.
Maryn enjoyed
reading and crafts
including sewing,
knitting and
dollhouse
miniatures. She
loved travelling
with her late
husband Tom,
especially to
Colonial
Williamsburg,
Disneyworld and
baseball spring
training in Florida.
Her survivors
include her daughter
Sandra K. (Jean
Chagnon) Johnson or
Northfield,
Minnesota; her
grandchildren Amanda
(Mir) Plemmons of
Everett, Wash. and
Colleen (Eric Gould)
Mitchell; and her
great granddaughter
Renee Gould.
Maryn is preceded in
death by her husband
Thomas Peirce
Johnson, Jr.; her
parents; and her
brother Weston Dash.
Visitation from

of Funeral Service
at 11:00 AM,
Tuesday, April 28,
2009 at the Lutheran
Home & Service for
the Aged, 800 W.
Oakton, Arlington
Heights. Entombment
at Memory Gardens in
Arlington Heights.
