Adeline J. Wenzel was born September 3, 1918 in Chicago to Anthony and Bernice (nee Leight) Mindak. She died Sunday, April 19, 2009 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Wenzel worked in manufacturing at Florsheim shoes for many years before retiring.

Her survivors include her daughter Joyce (Carl) Colletti of Inverness; her grandchildren Doreen (Marc) Colletti-Muhs, David Burgos and Anthony (Joanna) Colletti; her great grandchildren Payton and Quentin; and her brothers Frank (Helen) and Joe (Lorraine) Mindak.

Adeline is preceded in death by her husband Fred; her parents; her daughter Barbara Burgos; her grandchildren Christopher Casey and Deanna Burgos; her sister Irene (Arthur) Melmer and her brother Harry Mindak.

Funeral service 7:00 PM, Monday, April 27, 2009 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights with visitation from 3:00 PM until time of service Monday and Tuesday, April 28, 2009 from 9:00 AM until time of procession to Irving Park Cemetery at 10:00 AM.
