Maria Leja

Maria Leja was born July 24, 1961 in Koniowka, Poland to Jozef and Ludwika Czyszczon. She died April 8, 2009 at her home in Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Leja has worked for the Jewel bakery for the last 9 years. She was a faithful contributor to several charities. Her greatest joy was being with and taking care of her family.

Maria is survived by her husband Andrzej; her children Anna (Bobby) Dedic, Maggie and Andrew Leja and by her sister Anna (Jozef) Bafia.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation from 3 until 8 PM, Saturday, April 11, 2009 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Monday, April 13, 2009 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10 AM. Burial at All Saints Cemetery.
