Donald Lee Hanna

Donald Lee Hanna was born August 18, 1921 in Strawn, Texas to Roy and Flora (nee Heob) Hanna. He died Monday, April 14, 2008 at his home in Buffalo Grove.
Mr. Hanna was a purchasing agent in the food industry for over 39 years, having worked for Cook Chocolate Co. in Chicago and later J. W. Allen and Co in Wheeling before retiring in 1986. He proudly served in the US Army during WW II and participated in campaigns in Africa and Italy. Donald loved his family and was an avid fisherman.
His survivors include his wife of 58 years, Catherine (nee Mullins) Hanna; his son Robert of Buffalo Grove and his daughter Donna Hanna of Anna Maria Florida; his grandchildren Shannon, Brittany and Nicole Hanna of South Elgin and his brother Richard (Beverly) Hanna.
Donald is preceded in death by parents and his daughter-in-law Robyn.
Visitation from 3:00 until 9:00 PM, Friday, April 18, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service 10:30 AM, Saturday April 19, 2008, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Hillside.
