Mary L Gilsinger was born August 11, 1964 in Brockton, Mass. to John R. and Ann K. (nee Casey) Winberg. She died Monday, April 7, 2008 at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.

Mrs. Gilsinger was an Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable clerk for the National Catholic Society of Foresters in Mt. Prospect. She had many talents including sewing, crafts, crochet and needlework and had her own company, Mary’s Doll Closet.

Mary volunteered at St. Mary Church and School and also taught CCD, Vacation School and participated in the St. Bridget Guild. She volunteered for Boy Scout Troop 140. Mary will be dearly missed by her many friends and others whose lives she touched. She is remembered as someone of tremendous strength, faith, courage and love.

Mary is survived by her husband Craig E.; her son Craig Nicholas; her parents; her sisters Ann K. Winberg and Sue T. (Rick) Geddes, her brother John R. (Shawn) Winberg III, her nieces Stephanie Vincent, Lena Greco and Colleen Foley, her nephew Casey Winberg; grand niece Ashley Vincent; her mother-in-law Marlo L. Gilsinger; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Chris A. and James Izzo, Carol A. and John Foley

Visitation from 3:00 until 9:00 PM, Thursday, April 10, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and Friday, April 11, 2008 at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment at All Saints Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Endowment for Nursing & Research at LGH, Lutheran General Hospital, Attn: Carl Vvoelcker, 1775 Dempster St., Park Ridge, IL 60068.
