Joanne D. Porro was born on November 26, 1914 in Chicago to Leo and Anna (nee Laudichina) Salvo. She passed away on April 2, 2008 in Arlington Heights.

Joanne worked for over 40 years at First Security Trust & Savings Bank in Elmwood Park.

She is survived by her niece Kathy (John) Romza and her great-nephews, Daniel and Thomas Romza.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Anthony and her brother, Paul Salvo.

Visitation Sunday, April 6, 2008 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and Monday, April 7, 2008 at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM, Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM Monday at St. Edna Church.

Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
