David L. Lindemann
Of Buffalo Grove

David L. Lindemann was born in Chicago on February 21, 1931 to Edward and Martha (nee Marzynski) Lindemann. He passed away in Arlington Heights on April 22, 2007.

Mr. Lindemann served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He later completed his B.A and Masters degrees. He taught math at Prospect High School and later became a College Placement Counselor. He retired in 1986 after 31 years with the district. David directed and choreographed plays for Prospect High School and other District 214 schools. He was the Senior Class Sponsor for many years. Mr. Lindemann was an officer for the state association of admission counselors, the I.A.C.A.C. He had a special talent for matching students with a college that best suited them. David was active at St. James Church for 35 years where he was a Eucharistic Minister and directed, choreographed and performed at the St. James Productions. He was President of Music on Stage in Palatine and President of the homeowner’s association for Cambridge on the Lakes. David was an avid gardener who loved flowers.

Mr. Lindemann is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Louise (nee Reda) whom he met in 1949 while studying at Northern Illinois University, his sons, Glen (Sharon) of Arlington Heights and Edward (Jerri) of Elmwood Park, his grandchildren Avonne, Regina and Johnny and twelve nieces and nephews..

He was is preceded in death by his brother, George and his sister in law, Elizabeth.

Visitation from 3 until 8 PM Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10:00 AM. Entombment All Saint Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the St. James Building Fund, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
