Mary M. Ferrante was born February 3, 1918 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Joseph and Rose Morano. She died Monday, April 24, 2006 at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.
Mrs. Ferrante worked for Gimbles Department Store and later Sunbeam Electronics before retiring.
Mary is survived by her daughter-in-law Lynne Ferrante; her grandchildren Mathew and Jaime Ferrante; her sister Grace Corrao and many nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph A. Ferrante, Sr. and her son Joseph A. Ferrante, Jr.; and her siblings Rose Antonicci and James Morano.
Visitation from 6:00 until 9:00 PM, Thursday, April 28, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 28, 2006 at Visitation Catholic Church, 779 S. York Rd., Elmhurst. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Hillside, Ill.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Catholic Charities, 126 North Des Plaines, Chicago, IL 60606-6696.
