Lillian Szymaszek
Formerly of Mt. Prospect for 49 years

Lillian Szymaszek was born August 27, 1921 in Chicago to John and Mary (nee Szczygiel) Lazarski.  She passed away April 8, 2006 at home in Palatine.

Lillian was a homemaker and former member of St. Emily Church in Mt. Prospect for over 40 years.  She enjoyed family, friends, holiday gatherings, and loving and caring for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Loretta (Richard) Lee of Tampa, FL. , Mary Jo (John) Krienitz of Palatine, Cynthia (Larry) Wood of Geneva, and Nancy (Tony) Milecki of Palatine, her son, Thomas (Dona) Szymaszek of Kildeer, her grandchildren, Heather (Dr. Matthew Rossing) Lee, Tracy (Mike) Seebacher, Dr. Nicole (Mike) Anania, Vanessa, Jonathan and Ryan Krienitz, Garrett Wood and Aundrea and Anna Milecki, her great-grandchildren, Charles, Sebastien, Adrien, Elizabeth, Zachary, Andrew and Nicholas, her brothers, Edmund (Bernice) Lazarski and John (Gladys) Lazarski, and her loving and dedicated care givers, Davia and Joi.
 
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Clarence, her brother, Chester Lazarski, and her sisters Irene Pupa and Delores Luzinski. 
 
Visitation from 3 until 9 PM, Tuesday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights.  Prayers 10:30 AM, Wednesday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, 1201 Anderson (Anderson & Williams), Palatine for Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 AM.  Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
