Sue Mary Vasile
of Palatine

Sue Mary Vasile, of Palatine for 25 years, was born August 12, 1919 in Chicago to Paul and Mary Marro. She died Monday, April 25, 2005, peacefully at her home.

Mrs. Vasile was a homemaker and a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church.

Sue was the beloved wife of the late Paul Vasile, to whom she was married for 59 years until his death in 1999.

Sue was the loving mother of Marianne (John) Kretekos of Arlington Heights and Carolyn (the late Vincent) Lucchese of Palatine; she was the doting grandmother of Laura (Matthew) Kaplan of Vernon Hills, Susan (Christopher) Skidmore of Palatine, Paul Lucchese of Fox Lake and Dana (Jeffrey) Newcomb of Island Lake; cherished great grandmother of Alexis, David and Michael Kaplan. She is the dear daughter of the late Paul & Mary Marro and the fond sister of Evelyn Van Bush, the late Gilda Fiore, Raymond and James Marro. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Thursday, April 28, 2005 from 4:00 until 9:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:00 AM, Friday, April 29, 2005 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., proceeding to St. Theresa Church, 467 Benton, Palatine for Mass at 10:00 AM. Entombment will be at All Saints Mausoleum, Des Plaines.
