Billy W. Corts
Of Arlington Heights for past 54 years

Billy W. Corts age 82, was born April 27, 1923, in Chicago, Illinois to Roy C. and Helen (nee Washburn) Corts. He died Wednesday at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.

Billy was as a carrier pilot for the US Navy during WWII. He served as Elder, Deacon and Trustee for the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights. A member of the Arlington Heights Lions Club since September of 1979 he was instrumental in obtaining eyeglasses and hearing aid devices for needy people of the Arlington Heights community for many years. Billy was also a member of the Arlington Heights Historical Society.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years Patsy W. (nee Wise) whom he married in Chicago November 6, 1948. Children: Cheryl R. Corts, Caryn C. (Victor) Sorensen and Candace (Martin) Klein. Grandchildren: Nathan Sorensen, Matthew Sorensen and Bradley Klein. Sister: Betty (Alfred) Fluegge. Loved by many nieces and nephews

He is preceded in death by his sister Louise (Adrian) Brzezinski and his parents.

Memorial Visitation Sunday from 1:30 PM until time of Memorial Service at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights, 302 N. Dunton Ave., Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
