Joan "Jean" Golik
Of Buffalo Grove

Joan "Jean Golik was born February 16, 1915 in Chicago to Thomas and Rosalie Bak. She passed away Monday, April 25, 2005 at Claremont Nursing and Rehab Center in Buffalo Grove.

Joan was a dedicated wife and mother raising a daughter and son.

Joan is survived by her daughter Joyce (Richard) Thompson of Glenview andson Jim Golik of Buffalo Grove; grandchildren Richard, James and Stephanie; brother Stanley Bak; as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Golik was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, sisters Helen Mrozynski and Virginia Stiegart and brother Henry Piet.

Visitation Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd.

Prayers for Joan Golik will be held 10:15 AM, Thursday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights to St. Mary Catholic Church 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove for Mass at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at All Saints Cemetery.
