Evelyn L. Miles was born August 20, 1917 in Chicago to Oscar and Lillian (nee Walgren) Samuelson. She died Thursday, April 21, 2005 at Rosewood Care Center in Inverness.

Mrs. Miles was a homemaker.

She is the dearest mother of Penny Miles (Jeffrey) Gusel, Holly Anson and her partner Cathy Clements, Nancy M. (the late Roger M.) Sachtjen. She is the loved grandmother of Douglas (Lorrie) Anson, Amee (Robert) Burns, Frederick (Lara) Gusel and Dan (Sheryl) Gusel. She is the beloved great grandmother of Christopher, Allison, Daniel, Audrey, Emily and McKenna. She is also survived by her nephew Bill (Karen) Ortlund.

Evelyn was the beloved wife of the late William A. Miles, III., whom she married December 14, 1940 in Chicago.

Memorial Service Saturday, April 23, 2005 at 3:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights.
