Evelyn M. Behof was born on June 24, 1918 in Chicago to Harry and Dorothy (nee Tuscherer) McCarthy. She died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 in Wheeling.
Evelyn is survived by her children, JoAnne (Jack) Schultz and Richard (Connie) Behof; her grandchildren, Philip Schultz, Wendy Schultz, Amy Schultz, Sarrah (Steven) Oliver and Christopher (Sarah) Behof; and great-grandchildren, Victoria, Kylie, Sadie, Jolie, Ana, Padraig and Kyrie; and her sister, Donna (the late Thomas) Lenihan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Behof; her parents; and her siblings, James McCarthy, Marilyn Dunn and Harry McCarthy.
Visitation Tuesday, March 19, 2013 from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Mass 11:00 am at St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church, 411 N. Wheeling Rd., Prospect Heights. Interment is at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Greek American Rehab and Care Centre, 220 N. 1st St., Wheeling, IL 60090
