Janet Lee Grimm was born on December 24, 1932 in Wheaton. She died Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Journey Care in Barrington.

Janet worked as a Benefits Coordinator for National Tea in Rosemont. She loved to play golf and Mah Jongg. She was an avid gardener and loved Einstein and Reebok, her dogs. Janet enjoyed spending time with her family and was loved by all.

Janet is survived by her children, Jim Bywater, Greg Grimm, and Todd (Priscilla) Grimm; grandchildren, Matt (Fiancee Tara) Bywater, Dawn Grimm, Priscilla M. Grimm, Charlotte Grimm and Isabelle Grimm; great-grandchildren, Rori and Scarlett Bywater; step-mother, Ooh Hoo (Charlotte) Dowdle.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation Friday, March 8, 2013 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd.(4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, Illinois 60004. Funeral Service 11:00 am, Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the funeral home.. Burial at Arlington Heights Wheeling Township in Arlington Heights.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to The Buddy Foundation, 65 West Seegers Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois 60005 .
