Lorraine R. Skiby
Of Arlington Heights, formerly of Skokie

Lorraine R. Skiby was born August 10, 1922 in Chicago to Joseph and Veronica (nee Moskal) Pociask. She died March 2, 2013 at the Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights.

Lorraine is survived by her children Patricia (Joseph) Bielat; Robert (Delia) Skiby; her grandchildren Chelsea and Malachi; her brother Norbert (late Jane) Pope and by many nieces and nephews.

Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband John Skiby; her step brothers John and Henry Domanus.

Visitation from 3 PM until 9 PM, Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 8:45 AM Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home proceeding to St. Lambert Parish, 8148 N. Karlov Ave., Skokie for Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment at St. Adalbert Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to The Carmelite Monastery in Lorraine’s name, 949 N River Rd Des Plaines, IL 60016 or for an Intention Mass to be said in Lorraine’s name.
