Gertrude Evelyn Kaye was born December 6, 1910 in Chicago to Joseph and Veronica (nee Kwiatkowski) Hybzer. She passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013 in Schaumburg.

Gertrude is survived by her children, Floyd (Ann Shanley) Kaye and Denise (Myron) McHugh-Langhoff; her grandchildren, Jimmy, Dawn, Michael, Michelle, Mark (Kathy), Mary Lou, Katherine, Elizabeth, Jean (Larry), Margaret, and Thomas; and her great-grandchildren, Emilee, Tyler, Jessica, Jonathan, Christopher,

Thomas, Mark, Marrisa, Xander, and Tim.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry E. Kaye; her grandsons, Sean, John and Michael; and her parents.

Visitation will be held 8 until time of prayers at 10:30 am, Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. Funeral Mass, 11 am, Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 411 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights. Burial will be at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine.
