Bennie I. Bunas

Bennie I. Bunas, 101, of Arlington Heights, died Sunday, March 25, 2012 in Arlington Heights.

Mr. Bunas was a chemical engineer in process design and worked for Universal Oil Products from 1938 until his retirement in 1975.

He was the beloved husband of Doris (nee Wennerholm) Bunas; loving father of Karen Siepmann and Nancy (Charles) Mueller; cherished grandfather of Kristin (Stephen) Mandella, Kai (Daphne) Johnstad, Keith (Theresa) Mueller, Kim Mueller and Kevin Mueller; dear brother of the late Arthur Bunas, Margarete Bunas, late Irene Eide, late Lucille Hintz, late Gordon Bunas, and Alton Bunas; great grandfather of 10; fond uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Visitation 4:00 to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Memorial Service 11 AM, Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 1234 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Ben’s memory.
