Arthur P. Wallin
Of Palatine formerly of Des Plaines

Arthur P. Wallin was born on April 22, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois to Arthur and Lucy (nee Zell) Wallin. He died Saturday, March 17, 2012 in Hoffman Estates.

Arthur retired as Vice President of Construction at Fleetwood Realty. He was an veteran of the Army serving in the 36th Infantry Division during WWII. He was a member of the Des Plaines Elks Club and the Arlington Heights American Legion Post 208. He was also a long time member of St. James Parish and a life long Cubs fan.

Arthur is survived by his spouse of 65 years, Marcella (nee Walsh); his children Kathy (Kerry) Wiberg, Maureen Hammond, Jack (Debbie) Wallin, Peggy (Mark) Dalles, Luanne (Eddie) King and Christine (Dan) Parro; his grandchildren, Alicia, Brian, Amelia, Matthew, Sarah, Adam and Nick.

He was preceded in death by Son, Kevin (Erin) Wallin, and his parents.

Visitation from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois. Prayers 9:15 am Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at the Funeral Home, proceeding to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, for Mass at 10:00 am. Interment All Saints Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials Masses appreciated.
