Carmella A. "Dolly" Rizzo was born on September 11, 1921 in Chicago to Joseph and Carmella (nee Maresso) Alfe. She died Tuesday, March 13, 2012 in Arlington Heights.

Carmella is survived by her niece and nephews, Michael Alfe, David Alfe and Debi Bond; her sister-in-law, Mildred Rizzo; her aunt, Irene (the late Nash) Maresso and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Peter John Rizzo; her brother, Santo (Lois) Alfe and her parents.

Visitation from 9 AM until time of prayers at 10:30 AM, Friday, March 16, 2012, at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., Arlington Heights, Illinois. Funeral Mass 11 AM, Friday, March 16, 2012 at St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, Illinois. Entombment at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
