Charles William Busse

Charles W. Busse was born on October 10, 1927 to Charles William and Helen (nee Jacobsen) Busse. He died on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 in Arlington Heights.

Mr. Busse worked for Pretzel Stouffer from 1955 to 1984, and Busse & Busse & Grasse, P.C. from 1984 until 2006. He was Past President of the Northwest Suburban Bar Association, Past President of the Edison Park Lutheran Church Board of Trustees, and an avid golfer and shooter.

He is survived by his children, Charles William Jr. (Christine) Busse of Prospect Heights, Carla A. (William) Beatty of Barrington, Cynthia A. Busse of Prescott Valley, Arizona, and Carol L. (Thomas) Cummings of Roselle; and his grandchildren, Melissa, Hollynn, Andrew (Meghan), Brennen, Mark, Emily, Erik, Timothy and Edwin (Sherry), and great-grandchildren, Tyler, Leslie, Genesis, Amanda and Edwin.

Charles is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria (nee Hermann) Busse; his parents; and his brother, James R. Busse.

Visitation from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Friday, April1, 2011 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd. (4 blocks South of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights. Funeral Service 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment is private.
