June Edith Knutson

June Edith Knutson was born June 13, 1919 in Chicago to Enoch and Elise (nee Johnson)) Werlin. She died March 25, 2011 at The Lexington in Wheeling.

June was an avid gardener. She enjoyed baking, sewing, knitting, traveling, bowling, going for walks, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

June is survived by her husband Roy Knutson; children Dennis Knutson, Diana (Francis) Laux and Gary (Susan) Knutson; grandchildren Katy (fiancé Ray), Kevin, Brandon, Kyle and Steven; great grandchildren Nathan and Zachary.

She is preceded in death by her first husband Earl Ekman; her parents; granddaughter Robin (Tim) Purington and by two infant brothers.

Visitation Sunday from 3 until 6 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service 11 AM, Monday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
