Antonio Centanni
Of Elk Grove Village

Antonio “Tony” Centanni was born February 26, 1919 in Chicago to Antonio and Rosalina (nee Rufolo) Centanni. He died March 13, 2011 at Manor Care in Rolling Meadows.

Mr. Centanni was a member of the VFW post 9284 and a member and usher at St. Julien Eymard Church.

He is survived by his wife, Antoinette “Toni” (nee Boscarino) Centanni whom he married September 19, 1942; his children, John (Penny) Centanni of Baraboo, Wisconsin, and Patricia (Roger) Morey of Wheeling; his grandchildren, Sherry (Curt) Coffman, John (Nancy) Centanni, Diane (Barry) Flesch, Michelle (Bill) Chappell, Michael (Heather) Centanni, Debra (Lee) Meyer, Annette (Vince) Montalto, and Tina (Lou) Paparigian and 20 Great Grandchildren.

Antonio is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Tuesday March 15, 2011, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral Mass 10:00 AM,Wednesday March 16, 2011, at St. Julien Eymard Church, 601 Biesterfield Rd., Elk Grove Village. Interment is at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
