Margaret A. Cant
Of Arlington Heights
Margaret Acacia Cant was born on November 11, 1914 in Kirksville, MO to
Dr. Clarence Wesley and Clare (nee Zimmerman) Snyder. She passed away on
February 6, 2011 in Arlington Heights.
Margaret grew up in Oakland, IL. She married Dr. John “Jack” Cant on
August 3, 1940 and after his return from WWII they resided in Park
Ridge. She was a member of the Park Ridge Community Church. She
graduated from Eastern Illinois University and taught first grade for
several years, until her children were born. Margaret belonged to local
PEO group, loved to playing bridge and golf, arranging flowers, working

and the benefit of her wisdom.
