Rosalie DeBiase
Of Palatine

Rosalie DeBiase (nee Napoleon) was born on December 10, 1919 in Chicago to Jack and Jennie (nee Marchese) Napoleon. She died at the Moorings in Arlington Heights on March 18, 2010.

She grew up on Taylor Street in Chicago. Rosalie raised her family in Park Ridge where she was active at Our Lady of Ransom. She was a resident of Palatine for 33 years and enjoyed spending winters in Florida with her husband. She was active with the Harvest Bible Chapel. Her kind, caring, joyful spirit was an inspiration to everyone she met . She warmed her family and friends with compassion and love.

Rosalie is survived by her mother, Jennie Napoleon; her children, Cammy (Sino) Avella, Jean (Michael) Kowal and Donna (Ken) Bekas; her grandchildren, Michael, Joseph, Anthony, Matthew, Brianne, Devin, Stephanie, Brittany and Peter; her great granddaughter Rosalie “Rose”, her sisters Adeline VanVlierbergen and Eleanor Moran and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred DeBiase and her brother, James Napoleon.

Visitation Sunday, March 21. 2010 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and Monday at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights from 9:00 AM until Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM, Monday at St. Edna Church. Interment will be at All Saints Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to: Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, 410 South Hager Avenue, Barrington, IL 60010.
