Angelo J. “Joe” Ciotti

Angelo J. Ciotti was born April 9, 1918 in Salisburry, Ohio to Alfonso and Filomena Ciotti. He passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 in Elk Grove Village.

Angelo was a 42 year resident of Arlington Heights, formally of Michigan. He retired from Kemper Insurance after 36 years as a Safety Engineer. He worked for Bowen Ace Hardware in Arlington Heights for 20 years and was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Michigan.

He is survived by his children, Brent (late Mary Adele) Ciotti, Bradley Ciotti, and Patricia (Wayne) De Loncker; his grandchildren, Brent T. and Tim Ciotti, Wayne Jr. (Ewa) and Jason (Rebekah) De Loncker, Michael and Julie Ciotti; his great grandchildren, Renata, Wayne III, Isabella and Kaitlyn.

Angelo is preceded in death by his wife Carol Ciotti of 56 years, his parents and his siblings, Ben, Art, Faye and Anne.

Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday, March 21, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Prayers 8:45 AM, Monday, March 22, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights for Mass at 9:30 AM. Burial will be at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
