Grace B. Obenauf

Grace B. Obenauf was born on December 15, 1919 in Niles Center to Anton and Cecelia (nee Lichter) Dahm. She passed away on March 2, 2010 in Arlington Heights.

She is survived by her sister, Shirley (the late William) Wiest; her nieces and nephews, Cynthia (the late Kevin) Kane, Randy (Sheryl) Wiest, Laura (Tom) McDonald, Jerome (Darlene) Dahm, Jack (Darlene) Dahm, Joanne (Jerry) Freeouf, Don (Cheryl) Dahm, Bob Dahm, Tony (Connie) Dahm, Jim (Les) Dahm and Helen (Bob) Skutley and many other nieces and nephews; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kris Skelton, Chelsea and Kraig Kane, Amanda and Heather Wiest, Amy and Brian McDonald and many other great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Obenauf, and her brothers, Charlie (the late Eleanor) Dahm, Erwin (the late Ethel) Dahm and Ralph (the late Betty) Dahm.

Visitation Friday, March 5, 2010 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and Saturday, March 6, 2010 at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights from 9:00 AM until the time of Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at St. Mary Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
