Donald G. Holm was
born on August 19,
1927 in Chicago to
Godfrey Ferdinand
and Adeline (nee
Carlson) Holm. He
passed away on March
28, 2009 in
Arlington Heights.
Donald was a
longtime member of
Community
Presbyterian Church
of Mt. Prospect. He
also volunteered for
many years at
Northwest Community
Hospital.
He is survived by
his children, Carol
(Scott) Seibert of
Gig Harbor, WA, Mark
(Dee) Holm of
Billings, MT and
John (Margaret) Holm
of Lake Villa; his
step-children, John
(Mary) Hickel of
Columbus, OH, Judith
(Vern) Blyckert of
Eveleth, MN and
Jeffrey (Susan)
Hickel of Chicago;
his grandchildren,
Jenny (Chance) Rabon,
Danielle (Manusos)
Bicouvaris, Adam
Seibert, Mara (Greg)
Schwartz, Arielle
Holm and Kristin
Holm; and many
step-grandchildren
and
great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in
death by wife,
Geraldine Rae, nee
Sliger, his second
wife, Sylvia J., nee
Lewis; and his
sisters, Marilyn
Holm and Carol Holm.
Visitation Thursday,
April 2, 2009 from

time of funeral
