Donald Eugene Rose
Of Schaumburg

Donald Eugene Rose, formerly of Arlington Heights was born September 11, 1921 in Iroquois, South Dakota to Chester and Louisa (nee Stephens) Rose. He died Sunday, March 22, 2009 at Lee Memorial Health Systems in Ft. Myers, Florida.

Mr. Rose retired form Monthco Inc. where he was Vice President of Sales and marketing. He had formerly been employed with Alexander Proudfoot and Science Management Co. as a management consultant.

Donald enjoyed boating, especially power boating, golf, tennis and was a avid baseball spectator.

His survivors include his wife Elaine E. nee Doyle whom he married June 13, 1964; ;his sons John Alan Rose of Naperville and John Edward (Barbara) Rose of Barrington; his grandchildren Michael Brian (Samantha), Tracey Nicole, Jack Cameron and Gavin Tyler Rose; and his brother Wesley (Dephane) Rose.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Ronald.

Visitation from 3:00 until 8:00 PM, Sunday, March 29, 2009 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service 10:00 AM, Monday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment at Irving Park Cemetery, Chicago.
