Frederick Borgardt

Frederick Borgardt was born November 21, 1918 in Michigan to Henry and Emily (nee Hoppe) Borgardt. He died Friday, March 13, 2009 at Church Creek Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.

Mr. Borgardt was a retired residential carpenter. He served in the Navy during WW II.

His survivors include his daughters Darlene (Thomas) Bischoffer of Huntley and Nancy (Fred) Abrell of Hoffman Estates; his son-in-law Earlie Fires; his grandchildren Kevin (Kelley) Bischoffer, Deborah (Steve) Peterson; Brian (Melissa) Bischoffer, Keith (Teri) Fires, Kimberly Fires, Shannon (Jamie) Hogue, Daniel Abrell and Timothy (Kaelyn) Abrell; his 11 great grandchildren; and his sisters Julie and Marie

Frederick is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Audrey nee Kirsch; his daughter Kathleen Fires and seven siblings.

Visitation from 9:30 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 111 W. Olive St., Arlington Heights. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. Peter Lutheran Church.
