Betsey J. Kuzich
Of Schaumburg, formerly of Sutton, VT

Betsey J. Kuzich was born on January 19, 1924 in Lake Forest to Hamer and Alma (nee Lindberg) McCoy. She passed away on March 2, 2009 in Elk Grove Village.

Betsey was a graduate of Lawrence University in Appleton, WI. She received her Masters at Northern Illinois University. After teaching elementary school for ten years, Betsey spent 17 years as the Principal of Terrace Grammar School in Des Plaines.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Tony; her sons, Michael (Gail) Kuzich of Richmond, TX and Mark (Chris) Kuzich of Arlington Heights; her grandsons Brian and Paul Kuzich; her step-grandchildren, Clinton (Ashley) Shephard and Jeremy Shephard; and her step great-grandchildren, Corey and Alexandra Shephard.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Olive (the late Dale) Patterson.

Visitation Thursday, March 5, 2009 from 3:00 PM until the time of funeral service at 7:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment private.
