Robert Murphy was born on
July 28, 1923 in Chicago to
William and Winifred (nee
Kenny) Murphy. He passed
away on March 20, 2008 in
Omaha, NE.
Bob retired after 45 years
with American Can Co. He was
formerly an active member
and volunteer at St. James
Parish and he received the
Arlington Heights City of
Good Neighbors Heart of Gold
award, 1999.
He is survived by his
daughter, Cindy (Tom)
McMahon of Omaha, his
grandchildren, Matthew
(Ashley) McMahon of Atlanta,
Daniel (Bridgett) McMahon of
Dallas, and Michael McMahon
of Omaha, his
great-granddaughter Margaret
Elizabeth McMahon of Dallas,
his sister, Evelyn (Jack)
Healy of Centennial, Colo.,
sisters-in-law, Mary C.
Murphy of Oak Lawn and
Shirley Hansen of Chicago
and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by
his beloved wife, Norma, his
brother, William Murphy, his
sister, Mary Bertling, his
brothers–in-law, Albert
Hansen and William Bertling.

time of prayers at 10:30 AM
