Carl A. Cederlund was born October 9, 1927, to Carl G. and Sylvia (nee Anderson) Cederlund in Chicago. He died March 16, 2008 at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.

Mr. Cederlund was a former engineer/manager for teletype/ATT/ Lucent. He was also a CEO of Cederlund Enterprises.

Carl A. Cederlund is survived by his children Carol Cederlund of Schaumburg and Diane Cederlund of Gurnee; and his nephew Brad Murray of Northbrook.


Carl is preceded in death by his wife Joanne C. (nee Murray) Cederlund, whom he married October 28, 1950 in Chicago; and his parents.


Visitation Saturday March 22, 2008 from 9:30 AM until the time of service at 10:30 AM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment at Ridgewood Cemetery.
