Patrick Botterman
Of Arlington Heights

Patrick S. Botterman was born January 25, 1964 in Arlington Heights to Robert A. and Marian (nee Harrington) Botterman. He died suddenly Monday, March 10, 2008 in Chicago.

Mr. Botterman was a political and public affairs consultant and a well-known campaign manager having worked on the campaigns of Michael Dukakis, Melissa Bean, Scott Waguespack, Dan Kotowski and Michael Schroeder, among others. He is a current Harper College trustee, Wheeling Township Democratic Committeeman and member of the Mt. Prospect Rotary Club. Patrick is a graduate of Arlington High School and Western Illinois University, where he was the youngest class president and served three terms.

His survivors include his mother Marian; his siblings Mark (Peggy) Botterman, Mary Jo Coonen, Terrence (Kathryn) Botterman, Katie (Thomas) Buxton, Kevin (Lori) Botterman and Michael (Mary) Botterman; his nieces and nephews, Patrick and Connor Buxton, Spencer Bonne, Tara, Casey, Megan, Daniel, Tim and Sean Botterman; his godmother Rosemary Harrington; his aunt Dianne (Dick) Glander and his uncle Bruce (Rae) Botterman.

Patrick is preceded in death by his father, his brother Timothy and his grandparents Pete and Florence Botterman and Tim and Marie Harrington

Visitation from 3:00 until 9:00 PM, Friday, March 14, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 8:45 AM, Saturday, March 15, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights for Mass at 9:30 AM. Burial at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
