Lovella Shirley Wydeen

Lovella Shirley Wydeen, formerly of Wheeling and Palatine, was born on September 6, 1926 in St. Paul Minnesota to Alvin and Blanche (nee Johnson) Guthrie. She died Monday, March 26, 2007 at Lexington of Wheeling Healthcare Center.

Mrs. Wydeen is survived by her children, Laurie (Steve) Hess of Lake Zurich, Russ (Bobbie) Wydeen of Mundelein and Jim (Mary Lou) Wydeen of Caledonia, WI; grandchildren, Jim, Kimberly and Annika Wydeen and Kristin and Greg Hess; and her siblings, Becca (John) Krey, Dahl House, Penny Kirk and Nancy Guthrie; her sisters-in-law, Jean Mortenson and Barbara Jackson; and her many loving Nieces and nephews.

Lovella is preceded in death by her husband, Russell D. Wydeen, whom she married on October 20, 1951 in St. Paul, MN; her parents; her sister, Bridget (Art) Schlutz; her brother, Jerry Guthrie; and her brothers-in-law, Jim House and Bill Kirk.

Memorial visitation 9:30 AM until the time of memorial service at 11:30 AM, Saturday, March 31, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (four blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Committal Memory Gardens Cemetery.
