Bernice Margaret “Bea” Schreiber

Bernice Margaret “Bea” Schreiber was born on March 8, 1916 in Chicago to Walter and Augusta (nee Groth) Holtz. She died Sunday, March 25, 2007 at the Lutheran Home and Services in Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Schreiber was a homemaker. She enjoyed ceramics, making porcelain dolls, and playing cards. Her family gave her the most enjoyment.

Bernice is survived by her children, Judy D. (David) Petrie of Woodstock, Richard W. Schreiber of Ft. Myers, FL, Steven F. (Laurel) Schreiber of Fox Lake and James H. Schreiber of Milwaukee; her grandchildren, Debra (John) Gregory of Lake Villa, Kim (Dennis) Favaro of Crystal Lake, Sharon Schreiber of Hampton, VA, Jason Schreiber of Hampton, VA, Erik Schreiber of Fox Lake, Brett (Jamie) Schreiber of Olympia, WA, Kelly Schreiber of Harbor Springs, MI, Kari (Mike) Gedville of Lakemoor and Jodi Schreiber of Harbor Springs, MI; 11 great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick L. Schreiber and her parents.

Visitation 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (four blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 29, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Entombment Windridge Cemetery, Cary.
