Mary Ann Pinkonsly
Of Buffalo Grove

Mary Ann Pinkonsly was born on July 11, 1943 in Chicago to Charles Russell and Mary Ellen (nee O’Leary) Robison. She passed away Saturday, March 24, 2007 at Evanston Northwestern Hospital.

Mrs. Pinkonsly was retired from Illinois Bell after 27 years of service. She also worked at Carson Pirie Scott in Vernon Hills and was the treasurer of the Gulfstream RV Club. Mary Ann loved her cats. She enjoyed traveling and gardening. Mary Ann was the matriarch of her family after the loss of their parents at a young age.

Mary Ann is survived by her siblings, Robert Robison of Antioch, Rosemarie (Bob) Passi of Buffalo Grove, Ellen (Glenn) Winkler of Lake Zurich, Michael (Dianne) Robison of Park City and Sharon Alvey of Mt. Prospect; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William A. Pinkonsly and her parents.

Visitation 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (four blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. Mary Catholic Church 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove for Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society, 1114 N. Arlington Hts. Rd., Arl. Hts., IL 60004 or to the Brain Cancer Institute.
