Eufrosina “Florence” Serafini, of Des Plaines, was born February 17, 1912 in Lucca, Italy to Enrico and Angelina Rossi. She died Sunday, March 4, 2007 at Oakton Pavilion in Des Plaines.

Mrs. Serafini was a homemaker.

Florence’s family includes her husband the late Natalino Serafini, her children Angela (Larry) Biancalana of Mt. Prospect, Victor Serafini of Itasca and the late Richard “Dick” Serafini whose surviving wife is Denise; her grandchildren the late Ricky Biancalana and surviving Christopher (Rae) Serafini and Julie (Rudy) Presta, Michael Serafini ; her great grandchildren Marco and Lindi Presta and Massimo Serafini; her late brother Connie (Fosca) Rossi; her nephew Eric Rossi and her great niece Tina.

Visitation from 3:00 until 9:00 PM, Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights, and from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass 10:00 AM, Thursday March 8, 2007 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 700 S. Meier Rd., Mt. Prospect. Entombment All Saints, Des Plaines.
