Wilbert J. Koch
Of Arlington Heights for 50 years

Wilbert J. Koch was born in Maine Township on December 27, 1927 to Henry Sr. and Elise (nee Mueller) Koch. He died Saturday in Arlington Heights.

Wilbert was a member of the Cook County Farm Bureau and the ILCA. He was owner of Koch and Sons Landscaping and Lucky Acre Garden Center in Arlington Heights. He was also a long time member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Hawthorn Woods.

He is survived by his sons, Robert (Kristina), Thomas (Joan), James (Daryll) and Bill (Suzanne), his grandchildren, Kristopher, Nicholas, Jaclyn, Carol, Regan, Sheryl, Billy, Whitney, Alex, Adam and Hunter, brothers Henry and Irvin (Norma) and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years Shirley F. (nee Meyers).

Visitation 3-9 PM Monday March 27, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights and Tuesday March 28, 2006 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 24500 Old McHenry Rd., Hawthorn Woods, IL 60047 from 9 AM until the time of service at 10 AM. Interment Ridgewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Matthew Lutheran Church appreciated.
