Marguerite M. Volkmann was born September 12, 1930 in Chicago to Daniel and Edith (nee Lindow) Collins. She died March 21, 2006 at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Volkmann is survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert; her daughters, Patricia (Ronald) Hurwitz of Rolling Meadows and Donna (Michael) Fitzpatrick of Arlington Heights; her grandchildren, Robert, Amanda, Stephanie and Sean; and her sister, Joyce (Walter) Ovaert of Lincolnshire.

Visitation Thursday, March 23, 2006 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (four blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and Friday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 111 W. Olive Street, Arlington Heights, IL 60004 from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM on Friday March 24, 2006 at St. Peter Lutheran Church. Interment will be at Arlington Cemetery.
