Stella A. Kelly
Of Arlington Heights

Stella A. Kelly, formerly of Northfield, was born November 1, 1916 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Walter W. and Frances B. (nee Dueoletski) Surowski. She died Saturday, March 4, 2006 at ManorCare of Arlington Heights.

Stella lived for her fishing and was known by everyone at Horseshoe Lake Resort in Richmond, Minnesota. Although she left Minnesota in her early years, Minnesota never left her. She continued her fishing trips through 2005. Stella gave her love of fishing and the country to her children, family and friends.

Her survivors include her son Jim (Chris) Kelly of Arlington Heights, her daughters Maureen Kelly of Wilmette and Kathy Cheatham of San Antonio Texas; her grandchildren Kelly Cheatham and Jim (Sandy) Cheatham, both of San Antonio, Erin Kelly and Molly Kelly both of Chicago; her great grandchildren Garrett, Jules and Connor; her special niece Mary Kuebelbeck of Little Falls, Minnesota, and many other nieces and nephews

Stella is preceded in death by her husband James Kelly and her parents.

Visitation 5:00 until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10:00 AM. Committal Service will follow at All Saints Cemetery chapel with private burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Northbrook.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. James Building Fund, 820 N. Arlington Hts. Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
