Sonia T. Pluta
Of Arlington Heights

Sonia T. Pluta was born May 29, 1944 in Chicago to Louis and Josephine (nee Wall) Banas. She died Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Pluta was a medical records supervisor for the telephone company, until her retirement in 2000. She was a member of the Telecom Pioneers and the Christian Women's Club.

Her survivors include her husband John, whom she married February 6, 1971 in Chicago; her children Eileen (Tom) Huber of Woodstock and Billy Davis of Round Lake; and her 3 grandchildren Nicholas, Heidi and Daniel.

Prayer services will be held Monday March 14, 2005, 10:00 AM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Visitation Sunday, March 13, 2005 from 3:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at St. Michael the Arch Angel Cemetery.
