Joseph A. Piesche, Jr.
formerly of Mt. Prospect

Joseph A. Piesche, was born July 9, 1923, in LaCrosse, WI to Joseph A. and Bertha (nee Locher). He died Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at Holy Family Hospital in Des Plaines.

Mr. Piesche was a senior district claims manager for the Milwaukee Road and later with the Soo Line, retiring with 37 years of service. He was a veteran of WWII and the Korean War; and a graduate of US Army Adjutant General’s School in Fort Washington, MD.

His survivors include his children Linda (Patrick) Wadley of Arlington Heights, Renee (James) Cardella of Mt. Prospect and Michael (Sherri) Piesche of Lake Zurich; and his grandchildren Jason, Andrew, Daniella, Amanda, Matthew and Melissa.

Joseph is preceded is death by his wife Geraldine; and his parents.

Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 12, 2005 11:30 AM at St. Emily’s Catholic Church, Mt. Prospect . Visitation Saturday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass. Interment will be at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL.

In lieu of flowers, masses appreciated.
