Roman Moros
Of Arlington Heights

Roman Moros was born May 29, 1932, in Lviv, Ukraine to Basil and Jaroslawa (nee Kaleniuk) Moros. He died, Thursday, March 3, 2005 at Alden of Long Grove Healthcare Center.

Mr. Moros was a design engineer formerly employed with Borg-Warner for over 30 years, Northwestern University Research Center for over 10 years and had been employed on a sub-contracting basis for NASA. Roman was fluent in seven languages and was a singer, painter and a member of Ukrainian Bandurist Chords. He studied singing and fine art at the Sorbonne in France.

His survivors include his wife of 41 years, Oksana nee Sena whom he married October 19, 1963 in Detroit, Michigan; his son Dorian (Lori) of Deerfield and his daughter Laryssa of Arlington Heights; his aunt Vera; and his niece Inessa

Requiem service 7:00 PM, Sunday, March 6, 2005 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd. (4 blocks South of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights with visitation from 6:00 PM until time of Requiem Service. Memorial Mass, 8:30 AM, Monday, March 7, 2005 at Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Byzantine Catholic Church, 745 S. Benton St., Palatine
