Thomas G. Grieger
Of Arlington Heights

Thomas G. Grieger was born on October 6, 1929 in Michigan City, IN to Louis and Linda (nee Luedeman) Grieger. He passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013 in Arlington Heights.

Mr. Grieger worked as a Director of Photography for the Daily Herald. He was a former vestryman at St. Simon's Episcopal Church in Arlington Heights and St. John Episcopal Church in Mt. Prospect. He was also a member of Sigma Delta Chi and the Headline Club in Chicago.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sharon (nee Averitt); his sons, John (Mary) Grieger and Mark Grieger; his grandchildren, James (Tara) Grieger, John K. Grieger Jr., Sharon (Jonathan) Felts, DVM and Thomas S. Grieger; and his great granddaughter, Riley P. Grieger.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, James Grieger.

Visitation from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. Memorial service 11:00 am, Thursday, February 28, 2013 St. Simon's Episcopal Church, 717 Kirchoff Rd., Arlington Heights.
