Raymond Paul Fredrich
Of Arlington Heights and Palm Harbor, FL

Raymond Paul Fredrich, formerly of Mt. Prospect was born on July 7, 1931 in Chicago to Elmer and Gertrude (nee McElhone) Fredrich. He died Thursday, February 21, 2013 at his home in Palm Harbor, Florida.

Mr. Fredrich retired from Commonwealth Edison after working there for 36 years. He was a member of Midwest Tool Collectors, was a Ham Radio Operator
Sang in several choirs, including the Commonwealth Edison Choraliers, he was the published author of "Nail Pullers." Raymond participated in theater presentations at St. James for several years and is a former member of St. Emily School Board.

Ray is survived by his wife of 59 years, Margaret (nee Lanterman) Fredrich; his children, Lawrence Raymond Fredrich, Lynn Yvonne (James) Davis, Bruce Scott (Pamella) Fredrich and Mary Deborah (Keith) Mikell; his grandchildren, Jaime Pederson, James Davis, Jr., Stacy, Sarah, Lauren, and J. Patrick Fredrich, and Michelle Rae and Ryan Mikell; and his sister, Lois Jane Christoffersen.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Warren.

Visitation from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Friday, March 1, 2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment is at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 651 W. Washington Blvd., #400 Chicago, IL 60661 or to St. James Catholic Church, 820 N. Arlington Heights Rd. Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
