Olimpio "Oli" Belluomini
Of Arlington Heights

Olimpio "Oli" Belluomini was born on March 14, 1926 in Lucca, Italy to Amerigo and Gelsomina (nee Passaglia) Belluomini. He died Thursday, February 21, 2013 in Arlington Heights, after living a quality life.

Oli worked as a welder/foreman for Weber- Stephen in Palatine for 36 years, assisting in the production of many barbecue grills. He also spent quality time as a proud member of Mazzini-Verdi Club in Franklin Park with his beloved Italian brotherhood, where he regularly played cards, tossed bocce balls, and exchanged stories with his fellow members for 57 years. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Arlington Heights.

Olimpio is survived by his children, Walter (Cindy) Belluomini, Steve Belluomini, Joy Ann (Steve) Messer, and Rico (Amy) Belluomini; Grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael, Kevin, Rachele, Jason, Joe, Jake, and Joyanna.

He was preceded in death by his spouse Rachele, whom he married on July 25, 1960 in Chicago; his parents; and 4 siblings.

Visitation Sunday, February 24, 2013 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road)., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Funeral Mass 10:00 am Monday, February 25, 2013 at St. James Catholic Church, 821 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Entombment is private.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Guardian Hospice, 181 Waukegan Road, Northfield, IL 60093.
