Walburga T. Specht
Formerly of Arlington Heights
Walburga T. Specht was born on November 13, 1925
in Arlington Heights to Martin and Julia (nee
Stoppel) Mukahirn. She died Thursday, February
14, 2013 at her home in Nekoosa, Wisconsin.
Before retiring Mrs. Specht was a homemaker and
worked as a punch press operator.
She loved gardening, fishing and traveling. In
her later years she enjoyed listening to music
performed by her great grandchildren, watching
John Wayne movies and listening to records with
Nathan and Joey.
Walburga is survived by her children, Karen
(Paul) Weber and Martin (Paulette) Specht; her
grandchildren, Robert Specht, Gregory (Amy)
Weber, Raymond (Jamie) Weber, and Stacey (Chris)
Beck; and her five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo
Edward Specht; her brother, Steve Mukahirn; her
sisters Sophie Mirs and Catherine Thompson, and
her parents.
Visitation from 3:00 pm until 7:00 PM, Tuesday,
February 19, 2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home
Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks
south of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights.
Prayer Service 10:30 AM, Wednesday, February 20,
2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd. Interment at
St. John UCC Cemetery, Arlington Heights.

Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund, 333 N. Summit
