Stephan Harczos

Stephan Harczos was born on August 7, 1940 in Debrecen, Hungary to Stephan and Irene (nee Kraner) Harczos. He died Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL.

Mr. Harczos worked as a salesman in the steel industry for over 50 years. He was an avid golfer and Cubs Fan.

Stephan is survived by his wife Margaret nee Miracle; his children Lisa (Mark) Klemmer, Steven W. (Liz) Harczos, Adam D. (Elise) Harczos, Nancy E. (Felix) Alejos, and Forrest W. (Aimee) Thompson; his grandchildren Patrick Harczos, Jacob Harczos, Audrey Harczos, and his 11 step-grandchildren; his nieces Gina Lair and Gail Creen; his sister-in-law Maria; friend of Bill W.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Laszlo Harczos.

Visitation from 3:00 pm until time of Funeral Service at 7:30 pm, Monday, February 11, 2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society 1114 N. Arlington Heights Rd Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
