Cristina L. Semenek

Cristina L. Semenek was born on July 24, 1922 to Martin and Magdalena (nee Lopez) Liwag in Gapan, Nueva Ecija, Philippines. She passed away on February 22, 2012 in Arlington Heights.

Before her retirement she worked as an Elementary Education Teacher. She was a housewife and devoted mother. Cristina loved her family and was loved by all.

Cristina is survived by her children, George Robert (Linda) Semenek of Elk Grove Village, Anita L. (Ray) Liss of Marion and Lisa A. (the late Mohammed) Hemani of New Berlin, WI; her grandchildren, Michael R. Liss, Alyssa J., Lauren and Zachary Hemani and great grandchildren, Aiden and Madeline Liss.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Herman Semenek.

Visitation Tuesday, February 28, 2012 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment Private.
